Another Excellent Stay at the Diana Majestic

This has been my hotel of choice in Milan for many years. My most recent stay, during Salone del Mobile/Milan Design Week, did not disappoint. Once again, I felt "at home" in Milan. Milan Design Week is one of the busiest weeks of the year in Milan (even busier than fashion weeks). This meant that the hotel was in "sold out" mode. The management and staff rose to the occasion, providing excellent, professional service. Ms. Davanzo, the General Manager, does an incredible job. Breakfast is excellent: a well curated and extensive buffet, combined with the option of ordering hot dishes from the kitchen; and a perfect view of the garden. The garden is a very special place in Milan; a spot to be visited for a drink even if you are not staying at this hotel. Services by the concierge and front desk (both prior to arrival and during my stay) were top notch. The Diana Majestic is a grand dame of Milan. Yes, at some point, a refresh would be nice, but I love it just as it is. I will be returning to the hotel for Milan Design Week 2025 (and probably before). --A Bonvoy Titanium Elite Guest

Our flight was delayed and we were exhausted, but it was nice to be welcomed by the staff at the Sheraton Diana Majestic. They made sure to accommodate our needs. Since it was late, there weren't very many good food options, but luckily there was a fantastic place around the corner that had excellent pasta and pizza. The breakfast was fine. There was plenty of variety, so I don't know why other guests are upset about it. The location is not in the middle of Milan, but I found that to be a good thing. It meant fewer crowds, less noisy. The metro/public transportation system was very easy and accessible to the hotel. The hotel is an older building, but you have to understand that coming. We found the actual room to be pleasant and would stay here again.

The hotel has clearly seen better days. Sorry to say but this is the worst Sheraton property I've stayed in, and I am a Bonvoy Titanium Elite member. While it is near a metro station, it is very far from the main circulation of Milan (Duomo). Breakfast is not good and there is only one lift for the entire hotel so I saw guests going up and down the stairs as waiting time is long. The worst part of my stay is my room's AC was not functioning and so they gave me an electric fan (!). I checked in late, 10 pm, but nobody cared all this time to check if the room was ready for a guest to stay in. Never coming back and will not be recommending the property to colleagues.

We spent three very pleasant nights, we had a double room with a terrace overlooking the inner garden. There was a very varied breakfast included and served by friendly and helpful staff. The reception staff were also friendly and professional and helped us on two occasions. Firstly, they provided us with a toothbrush that we had forgotten to bring and another day at the end of the afternoon, exhausted and without the strength to look for a restaurant for dinner, after a call a few minutes later we had a reservation in a place that was a great success. It has a lounge next to the garden where you can sit and relax away from the noise of the street. It also has a tram stop in front of the hotel so you can't leave Milan without trying it.

Hotel is steps from the M1 Porta Venezia metro station. The location is central to many great restaurants in the area. Service was excellent. The room was not ready quite ready for an early check in. The from desk employee kept an eye on the computer for the status and walk over to us sitting on side lobby chairs to give us the keys. The rooms were a bit dated due to the worn carpet. Otherwise, I’ve been to worse hotels before. We had an early flight back home and couldn’t make to breakfast buffet in the morning. We coordinated with employee in a pre-arrival email that we had an early flight and if any accommodations could be made. The front desk employee was able to arrange a take out breakfast bag for each of us to enjoy.
